First LTT in Spain. Day 2: Zaragoza

Exciting day in Zaragoza!
We went to Zaragoza by bus. Biciclistas de Corella’s van carried some bikes. The first stop was a visit to a Muslim Palace: “La Aljafería”. It was sooooo impressive. Then, we cycled to the main square, Plaza del Pilar. We had lunch there in the sun. The plaza was beautiful, the cathedral humongous and the athmosphere very lively: street performers, passers-by, shops, tourists…
The teachers had lunch in La Ciclería, a meca for cyclists. You can have your bike serviced there, hire bikes and guides, learn to fix your bike… We went there to take hired bikes and went on a 2-hour tour along the river banks, the 2007 Universal Expo fancy buildings… We loved it!
We had three hours of free time in the afternoon-evening and went back to Corella by bus again. Zaragoza was a great choice to spend a sunny day.
Once in Corella, we went out with our peers to have a soft drink. Some of us went to fiestas in Cascante too. So exciting! The teachers had some tapas in Gastrobar, a cool bar by the bus station.
