WALK FOR EQUALITY
On the 9th of November 2022, the initiative “Walk for equality” “took place in Azambuja with the participation of most schools in our cluster and with the involvement of 300 participants including students from primary schools and senior citizens from the Parish Social Center and from the Senior University of Azambuja (Utica). The students were wearing a T-shirt with the word “equality” painted in many different languages. The students responsible for the design of the T-shirts were students from the vocational course of multimedia and from the arts course. The activity finished in the municipal square with a choreography prepared by the physical education teachers. This walk showed that unity is strength and that equality is fundamental in a multicultural world.
THE CLIMATE ACTION WEEK
The Portuguese team organised the first edition of the Climate Action Week on the 17th and 18th of April 2023. We had two days filled with activities, such as workshops, conferences and quizzes. We planted trees and hoisted the Green flag from the Eco-Schools programme. We invited very special guests from the primary school and from the Parish Social Centre. Together we celebrated the environment, inclusion and intergenerational relationships.
