THIRD ERASMUS INTERGENERATIONAL EXCURSION

THIRD ERASMUS INTERGENERATIONAL EXCURSION
The first day of April 45 people walked and cycled 14 kilometers. There were six children, ten adolescents and 29 adults. Ten people cycled and the rest walked. First we visited Miguelito’s cheese farm. They explained the cheese production process, we tasted excellent cheeses and, of course, we bought plenty of them. Afterwards, we went to Campiel bird-watching tower. It’s a beautiful spot to admire a breath-taking view of a river meander. We ate in La Barca, a gorgeous place by the river, and ended up having coffee in the main square. It was a fun, exciting and eventful intergenerational day.

THIRD ERASMUS INTERGENERATIONAL EXCURSION

14 new kilometers of RUSCA, the «Healthy and Cultural Alhama Route»
We have inaugurated 14 new kilometers of the RUSCA, the «Healthy and Cultural Alhama Route». This trail, that connected Corella with Cintruenigo and Fitero already, reaches the border with La Rioja with this new 14-km stretch and, hopefully, will get to Alfaro and the Sotos del Ebro in the near future. Six Erasmus ambassadors and two majors (Alfaro’s a Cervera de Río Alhama’s) participated in the event and walked to Araciel (10 kms). Once in Corella, we gave «A whole life cycling» award to the Arellano sisters: Fabiola, Rocío and Lourdes
