CINECICLETA AMAZES ALHAMA HIGH SCHOOL
Isabel and Carmelo came to our high school to tell us their project.
Isabel Segura and Carmelo López are two seasoned cyclists that travelled for two years (2015-2017) all around Africa by bike, dragging a heavy pedal-powered projector to let people in remote areas enjoy cartoons, short movies, etc. This is, in a nutshell, how Cinecicleta was born and evolved. A TV channel, TCM, made a documentary in 2019 about their amazing African trip and they’ve been telling their unbelievable stories in culture centers, schools and town councils since. Carmelo and Isabel, Cinecleta, visited us on October 27 and seven groups marvelled at their adventures, landscapes and anecdotes.
