February 1st
On Saturday, February 1st, fifteen Erasmus students, four parents, and a teacher were in the parish house of San Pedro Manrique. The previous weekend, we had been plastering the walls of the rooms of the parish house, and that Saturday the group of twenty people painted four rooms and the corridor. After the hard work, we had a refreshing drink in the sun in the village square and ate in the Motores Restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visited the Museum of Paso del Fuego and the place where the embers are passed over on the 23rd of June every year, Noche de San Juan (Night of St. John). We finished the day with a visit to the Albergue de Fuentes de Magaña, where we will sleep on the 26th April as part of our route through the Highlands of Soria.
One million thanks to the families and Erasmus students for an unbeatable day of coexistence, learning, and service.
