Another intense and fun morning of demonstration walks in Tudela. We have started by showing Nati (92 years old) and Maribel (77) the exhibition "From pole to pole", with beautiful photos of animals and landscapes of the world from National Geographic. Afterwards, we picked up Carmen Berrozpe, who is 95 splendid years old, and we went to the Plaza de los Fueros to join the rest of the cyclists in the "+de100" challenge. By the way, we have reached 180 cyclists.
The square was bustling with activity, as usual on holidays. The wheelchair yayacleta, with Nico at the helm, has walked María Dolores Herrera, a 79-year-old woman. Clara Ovejas (89) and Inés (91) went on the Recicleta Ribera tricycle, a woman who told us that she came from Paraguay twenty years ago to Tudela. A Red Cross volunteer has delivered a hand-woven blanket for the yayacleta.
We have done a five-kilometer route throughout Rudela: Paseo del Queiles, de los Poetas, Merindades, Barrio de Lourdes... We have ended up on Avenida de Zaragoza, where there have been many activities along the street: juggling, music live jazz, cycling equipment raffles, games for children, lunch...
